Cationic Bitumen Emulsion RS 1 is a product manufactured out of bitumen dispersed into the water in the form of fine globules(micron size)by means of an emulsifying agent. The later acts to decrease in terfacial stress between the bitumen and water thus preventing their breakage during normal conditions of storage.

APPLICATION & USES
- Cationic Bitumen Emulsion RS 1 is ideally suited for tack coat application, single coat surface dressing.It is used for surface dressing (single/two coat)
- Tack coat with can be applied on bituminous surface, Cationic Bitumen Emulsion aged bituminous surface, primed bituminous surfaces and bituminous surfaces.
RECOMMENDED RATE OF APPLICATION
- Bitumen surface 2 to 2.5/10 Sq.m.
- Aged bitumen surface 2 .5 to 3/10 Sq.m.
- Primed surface 2 .5 to 3/10 Sq.m.
- Non bitumen surface
Granular base (not primed) 3.5 to 4.0/10 Sq.m.
Cement concrete pavement 3.0 to 3.5/10Sq.m.
Cationic Bitumen Emulsion MS is specially designed water based bitumen emulsion with moderate viscosity and setting time. The medium range of setting time makes it an ideal product for premixing applications. It is chocolate brown in colour and is a free flowing liquid at ambient temperature. CBEMS is manufactured strictly as per IS 8887:2004.

It is black in colour and is a free owing liquid at ambient temperature. CBESS1 is manufactured strictly as per IS 8887:2004.
